I love Christmas because I love presents.
And I got my first present in the mail yesterday. It was all the way from Cousin Thouzi in Seymour. And it was very exciting - yummy dog biscuits that she had made (I think her mother helped her) and sent to all her doggie friends and family for Christmas. There’s a picture of them on the left. And she even sent me the recipe for how to make them. I don’t think my mum will let me near the oven though.
I can’t wait for Christmas Eve. We’re having a big family bash - a BBQ with lots of food (my second favourite thing next to presents), and lots of presents too. I wonder what Santa Claus has brought me.
I hope Santa brings you something good too.
I’m not the only doggy who loves Christmas. My friend Teddy (that’s him on the right), is a Christmas hound too. And as you can see, he likes to play dress-ups as well. Here he is wearing his Santa suit - well, this time it’s a virtual Santa suit.
I wonder what happened to his real one?

These two handsome fellows are cocker spaniels. They live in Eltham with their human mum Angelina (their real mum Pepper went to doggy heaven last year).
I don’t know their names, but apparently they’re known as “the boys”.
Aunty Nadine sent me their photo, but she didn’t tell me much more about them. So I don’t know how old they are, what star sign they are, what their hobbies are, or anything else really. Oh well. They’re cute anyways.

My friend Teddy, the Airedale from Geelong, had his summer haircut yesterday. He’s now lost all his gorgeous winter curls (see the before and after photos above), and isn’t very impressed with his dad who tricked him into going to the hairdresser.
Don’t worry Ted - you still look really cute!

This tiny little fellow is Benji. He’s a little Australian terrier puppy with the biggest ears! They’re almost as big as the rest of him. Benji lives in Townsville in North Queensland.
My mum is in Townsville at the moment, working - and she sent me this photo. Benji lives a little outside of Townsville in a place called Bluewater. He’s lucky enough to live at a beautiful place owned by Valerie who is a landscape gardener and palm specialist. She has some fantastic palms at her “palmetum” - some of them are quite rare. Mum has put some photos of Valerie’s palms online on Flickr.
Benji reallly likes to play ball and gets very excited when he has visitors - don’t we all!
