Since mama got back from India (a few weeks ago), she’s been taking me to work at her office most days. Not that I do any work – apart from guarding, which she gets cross at me about. She’s the one who is working. I just get to lay around and relax – when I’m not barking at noises.

Post-Christmas tiredness
I don’t know about you, but Christmas wears me out. There’s so much to eat, so many visitors to say hello to, and so many new toys to play with.
Like my new super-squeaky hamburger. It’s the squeakiest one I’ve ever had, and I’ve had hours of squeaking happiness since I got it on Christmas day. Mama says it’s the last one I’m getting – probably because she’ll never be able to find one as good and squeaky as this again. But I’m willing to help her try.
Now it’s all over, I’m just sooo tired. I just wanna curl up in mama’s bed and sleep, sleep, sleep. In between walks, of course.

Byron’s been rescued – hip, hip, hooray!
This sad-looking boy is Byron. He was tied up at the pound when this photo was taken.
But don’t worry, Byron has just been adopted, in time for a big family Christmas in Canberra. So he’s very, very happy now.
Byron is an American bulldog. But don’t go thinking he’s a tough guy just because he looks tough. He’s a very gentle, loving boy. He loves and cuddle and a kiss (don’t you love that black kisser of his!).

My friend Elle
Meet my friend Elle. She’s gorgeous. In fact, she’s delicious (well, mama says she’s chocolate, so that must mean she’s delicious. Mind you, I don’t get to eat much chocolate, but the tiny bits I’ve had have been delicious).
Elle lives with Derek and Andre in Bentleigh, which is not too far from where I live. Derek used to work with my mama (and secretly, mama hopes they’ll work together again one day because she thinks Derek is ace).
