This is my cousin Thouzi, and second-cousin Junior (Thouzi’s son). Thouzi sent me this email about their Christmas.
Dear Cousin Bacchus,
Merry Christmas. We’re glad to hear you are having a fun Christmas and you liked the dog bickies we made. We are having a great Christmas too. Santa bought us great toys - a Lion King squeaky lion and a ball on a rope. And Dad gave us some bones too. Here’s some photos of us.
Love and licks

This is my big handsome cousin, Groovus. He’s a white and brindle (just a patch over his eye) American bulldog which means he’s really, really, really big. But he doesn’t have an American accent.
Groovus is one year old (a big puppy still), and lives in Shepparton with his human family: Steve, Nerine, Izaak, Riley and Oscar. He has his own house - his dad’s shed, complete with a beer fridge. Not that Groovus is interested in beer - his meat is kept in the fridge, and he’s very keen on learning how to open it.
Groovus is a gentle giant, but he can be a bit scarey when you first meet him. He gets quite excited and tends to jump around a lot. But he soon settles down and likes to shake hands and snuggle up against his dad, Steve.

This is my cousin Thouzi (on the left) with her son, Junior. It’s unbelievable how much Junior has grown. Just seven months ago, he wasn’t much bigger than her paw. In case you’ve forgotten how little he was, check out this photo of Junior when he was born.
I wonder how big he’s gonna be in another seven months. Scarey!

Hey everyone, my cousin Thouzi has had a baby! And it’s a boy!

Bear Junior (named after his dad), or “Junior” to friends and family, was born at 4am on Easter Sunday and weighing in at a mere 500 grams.
