Since mama got back from India (a few weeks ago), she’s been taking me to work at her office most days. Not that I do any work – apart from guarding, which she gets cross at me about. She’s the one who is working. I just get to lay around and relax – when I’m not barking at noises.

Post-Christmas tiredness
I don’t know about you, but Christmas wears me out. There’s so much to eat, so many visitors to say hello to, and so many new toys to play with.
Like my new super-squeaky hamburger. It’s the squeakiest one I’ve ever had, and I’ve had hours of squeaking happiness since I got it on Christmas day. Mama says it’s the last one I’m getting – probably because she’ll never be able to find one as good and squeaky as this again. But I’m willing to help her try.
Now it’s all over, I’m just sooo tired. I just wanna curl up in mama’s bed and sleep, sleep, sleep. In between walks, of course.

I got a new toy!
I got a new toy yesterday – actually, I got a little bag full of them. Mama finally bought me some from my favourite shop (the op shop up the road from her office).
She took this video of me playing.

‘No’ means ‘no’ – sheeesh!
I’m soooo tired. Mama took me for too many walks yesterday. And she kept waking me up when I was trying to nap under her desk during the day.
Then in the evening, when I’d just gotten settled for a good sleep, Auntie Kylie came to visit.
And during the night, my feet were so itchy I had to stay awake and chew them. Even getting into mama’s bed didn’t help.
And now I just want to sleep. But mama keeps telling me to get up.
No! I want to stay in bed. Go away.
