I love Bostons

Boss, the Boston terrierOK, I’ve been spending waaaay too much time on Flickr. But there are so many cute dogs there, I can’t drag myself away.

Meet Boss, the Boston Terrier. Isn’t he gorgeous! Boss lives in Fukuoka, Japan - that’s a really looong, looong way away from here. I don’t think Mum would want to drive me all that way, so I don’t think Boss and I will ever be able to play together.

But you don’t have to go to Japan. There’s a lot (more than a 100) of really cute photos of Boss on Flickr that you can look at–all you need is some free time.

While you’re there, you should check out Buddy’s photos too. He’s another Boston Terrier who lives a long way away - in Chicago.

Otis up close

Otis, a closeupWhile hanging out on Flickr, I ran into Otis - apparently he’s one of those doggies that likes to get up real close. You know the kind I mean. They walk right up, put their nose in your face (or your bottom), and go the big sniff. And not just once. They keep at it and at it–sniff, sniff sniff!

Freaks me out a bit when that happens, although Otis here looks kinda cute. But I think he might be a big dog. And I get scared when big dogs come this close. Mainly because a big dog bit me once.

What do Java beans taste like?

Java beans rests on his pillowHi folks, this is Java Bean, a little dachshund doggie that I met on Flickr.

He looks pretty cute all snuggled into his pillow. I like to snuggle into my pillow like that! But I’m curious about his name. Why did they name him after a bean? And what do Java beans taste like?

If you want, you can look at more photos of Java Bean on Flickr.

Skating versus trains - what moves you?

Photo: Tyson, the skating dogA few days ago my dad took me on a ride on a train. I’d never been on a train before. It was really weird. It was like being in a room that was moving. I felt sick. I felt scared. I cried. I don’t know if I want to do it again.

And then I read about dogs who skate. Now this looks like fun (this photo is of Tyson who perfected dog skating). I want to do it. I want to have lessons. Hmm… lessons. Mmmm… maybe I’ll fall off??? Hmm… maybe I’ll just watch Tyson?

If you want to watch Tyson skate, then check out his website: Skateboarding bulldog.
