Hey everyone, my cousin Thouzi has had a baby! And it’s a boy!

Bear Junior (named after his dad), or “Junior” to friends and family, was born at 4am on Easter Sunday and weighing in at a mere 500 grams.

It’s that time of year again when the humans taunt us with yummy smelling (and tasting - but they only ever let you get the tiniest lick) easter egg chocolate. It’s just not fair that chocolate is so diabolically dangerous for doggies to eat.
Anyhow, there are other ways we can celebrate Easter, as Koby and Gardener (otherwise known as the Corgi Kids), have shown us. Don’t they look cute in their bunny ears!
You can see lots more photos of Koby and Gardener on Flickr’s Corgi Kids set.

My friend Poppy is quite the girl around town. Here she’s pictured at the recently-opened My Dog Cafe at Station Pier in Port Melbourne (that’s in Australia - in case my American pooch pals don’t know).
Poppy’s been there 3 times now (gee, I’d never even heard of it). She hasn’t met anyone famous, but she has had a nice cruisy time, relaxing on the big doggy cushions.
She says the food isn’t too bad. She’s had the chicken and vegies (but she turned her nose up at the vegies). Her favourite is the slow-cooked lamb shanks. Sounds lip-smacking good to me!
There’s no whine list (so my mum won’t be any hurry to take me there), but there are “My Dog-a-ccinos” with carob sprinkles (you do know that doggies aren’t supposed to eat chocolate, don’t you?).
The only downside that Poppy reports is that they use plastic disposable plates. Eco-friendly doggies might not be too happy about that. After all, we can lick our own plates clean and save the cost of hiring a doggy dishwasher.
