Rocky needs someone to love him
Yesterday my mum met Rocky. He was down by the Lerderderg River at Blackwood playing water games with his temporary mum and dad and their three dogs (Toby, Scruffy and a big old black dog whose name mum doesn’t remember).
It seems Rocky’s real parents don’t want him any more. They’ve not been looking after him properly and he’s been escaping from his chain (ergh, I don’t even want to think about being chained up all day) and ending up in the local dog pound.
Fortunately, Rocky has some good neighbours, and they’ve saved him from the pound a few times now. They’ve taken him in and looked after him, but with a big family of dogs already, they’re not sure they can keep him. I sure hope they can.
