Look what Santa brought me! A Christmas snowman. I was so excited, I didn’t waste any time giving it a good old chew. It had a neat plastic hat on it that I managed to rip to shreds in no time. Mind you, I nearly choked on it. Hats aren’t easy things to chew.
I got another toy too - a big green plastic Christmas bone. I’ve nearly eaten it all even though mum got cross with me and told me it wasn’t the kind of bone that was meant to be eaten.
My Grandma gave me a new bowl and a new ball. A squeaky ball. I nearly lost it because Cousin Angus was here when I opened it, and he’s obsessed with squeaky things. By the time I managed to get hold of it, it was covered in his saliva - egh!
The most fun thing about this Christmas was that mum put up a tree and then she put all the presents under it. She put everything up on a table though, so I couldn’t rip my presents open before Christmas day. I love opening presents!
And I’ll be getting more presents soon - for my 7th birthday on February 5. That’s if mum and dad don’t forget again!

It’s that time of year again when poor unsuspecting little dogs get dressed up in silly costumes so their owners can take photos of them to put on their Christmas cards. Look at this poor little bloke!
If you’re like my mum, you won’t have even started Christmas shopping yet, so if you’re looking for some last minute presents, here’s a few tips.
- 2005 Calendar of Happy Endings
A gorgeous calendar for next year showing off some beautiful bullies (my mum’s last dog was a bull terrier) who’ve been rescued and can now live a good life with new and responsible owners.
-
Mona Lisa and smooth fox terrier BBQ apron
You’re never seen Mona Lisa look so happy as when she’s cuddling a smooth-haired foxy. Buy one and make your favourite BBQ chef happy too!
- Dog tent
Going camping over the summer break? Then buy a tent for your best friend so he can travel in style too!
- ‘I love Jack Russell Terriers’ bumper stickers
Now I know you probably already have a bunch of these, but you really should buy some more for your family and friends.
- And of course, there’s always my CafeShops site, which mum recently updated, and where you can buy lots of dogblog stuff: tshirts, mugs, wall clock, stickers… all sorts of stuff.
