This is my friend Bonnie. She lives in Thornbury with her human mum and dad who rescued her from the lost dogs’ home. They love her lots and say that she smiles at them, but mum says it’s just wind (whatever that means - wind doesn’t make me smile. It’s scarey).
Bonnie only has one eye but she’s got a big heart. And she’s got lots of energy. She can run everyone ragged in no time.
She likes playing with toys, and she grabs them and flips them up in the air over the back of her head and then chases them and does it all over again. She’s a bit mad, don’t you think?!

A few days ago Mum and Dad took me on a big trip in the car to visit my relatives (and some of theirs).
First stop (well, the first “official stop” - we stopped a few times before we got there because I get car sick) was Seymour where I got to check out Cousin Hooch’s grave.
I walked around it and gave it a good old sniff. It smelled pretty good. And it doesn’t look half bad either. It’s got his name on it, a little statue of a dog in case he gets lonely, a lamp so he doesn’t have to stay in the dark all night, and some flowers .

A couple of weeks ago Cousin Thouzi had an accident. Poor thing ripped her leg while jumping up on the back fence to try to get the barking dog over the back to shut up.
She sent me this photo. She’s had her staples out, but she’s now got a really big scar.

Oh yeah, humans like Easter all right. They get to eats lots of chocolate easter eggs. But dogs aren’t allowed to eat them, no matter how much we plead with our saaaaaad little eyes, no matter how much we droooooool while watching our human family members gobble them down.
I hate Easter. Bring on Christmas!
