Our Jennie is not well
Our poor pussy cat Jennie is sick. She’s all wobbly on her back legs, and when anyone tries to pick her up, she cries.
Mum and dad took her to the vet (a nice new vet called Melanie) yesterday. She’s now on blood pressure tablets because Melanie said she’s bleeding in the back of her eyes and this might be because of high blood pressure. And she may have to go onto a special diet like the one Ten (our other cat, the bossy one) is on.
Melanie took a blood test from Jennie, and we have to wait for the results. She’s either got kidney or thyroid problems, as well as high blood pressure. But she’s pretty good for an old cat. Mum and dad think she’s about 17. Nobody seems to know for sure, especially not Jennie. She can’t count.
