Catching up with my country cousins
What a day! I’m so tired I can hardly type.
Mum took me for a really looong ride in the C-A-R. We went all the way to Seymour to visit my country cousins, Thouzi and Hulk.
Hulk sorta looks like he’s my cousin. He’s the same colour as me, and the same shape–just a bit shorter. But he certainly didn’t behave like my cousin. He kept trying to hump me. I think he’s swallowed his dad’s supply of Viagra.
And Thouzi, well, she was HUUUUGE!. I couldn’t see any family resemblance at all–not that I got close enough to find out. Mum said she was very sweet (apart from the drool), and as playful as a big puppy. To me, she looked like a Goliath and lunged like one too. Thankfully Aunty Tennielle had a good tight hold on her.
We went for a really interesting walk and saw horses, cows (even a really cute baby one) and a very noisy goose called Honk. My Aunty Kay said that Honk eats bread and protects the cows and horses from wild dogs. I felt quite safe with Thouzi leading the way, though I did get a bit nervous whenever she stopped and looked around at me. She looked like she wanted to eat me, but mum insisted she was just smiling and very happy to meet her cousin from the city.
After our big walk I was very tired, so I sat on mum’s knee. Aunty Tennielle said I was a big sook, and Aunty Kay said I whined too much. Mum said they don’t understand that whining is my job, my specialty. After all, I am the doG of Whine!
