More dogs in cars

Photo: Nippy, Shadow, Toby and Timmy in the carA while ago I posted a link to a website with lots of pictures of dogs in cars. But now I’ve got a good one of my own, sent to me by my friend Timmy.

Timmy had been on a big trip to Orbost for his grandma’s 50th birthday. He was very excited because he got to visit Nippy, Shadow and Toby.

Nippy, Shadow and Toby were pretty excited too. When it was time for Timmy to go, they all jumped in the car and wanted to go home with him.

I don’t blame them. I like riding in cars too!

Don’t you?

Wolfie’s mum is a playwright

Photo of WolfieWolfie is a Maltese-Shitzu cross who lives with his mum Nik who is a friend of my mum’s.

Wolfie has a cat for a big sister, but we won’t hold that against him–we all have our crosses to bear.

My mum says Wolfie is a lucky dog because Nik is very clever. She’s a playwright, which is someone who writes plays.

Nik has written a lot of plays, and has acted in some of them too. She’s quite famous, really.

I think Wolfie must have a pretty groovy life. Check out that groovy couch he’s sitting on!

No holiday for Uncle Chris’s birthday

Photo showing Uncle Chris blowing out candlesMy uncle Chris turned 36 (in human years - it would be a heck of a lot more than that in dog years) today.

If he lived in France, he’d get a holiday for his birthday because it’s Bastille Day. But he in lives in Melbourne, and had to go to work as normal (which my mum says is about as demanding for Uncle Chris as a public holiday is in France).

Uncle Chris had a special dinner at a Chinese restaurant, and my mum and dad went. They couldn’t take me because I can’t sit very well on chairs in restaurants. I like to jump up on the table, but apparently that makes other people nervous. I don’t know why. It’s not like I’m gonna eat all their dinner. I have a very small appetite, and I’m pretty fussy about what I eat.

Afterwards they all went back to cousin Poppy’s house and uncle Chris had this really good birthday cake that Aunty Andrea made. With help from cousin Poppy, of course, who apparently licked the icing to help smooth it out real nice.

Timmy Robinson says “hello”

timmy.jpgSay hello to Timmy Robinson. He’s only four months old, and as you can see, he’s a real little charmer. Timmy likes playing with his human buddy, Hayden Robinson, who is almost 2 human years old.

According to his uncle Andrew (who works with my mum), “Timmy is the son of his human mother’s mother’s brother’s dogs from Poweltown.” I hope that makes sense to you because I’m a bit confused.

Uncle Andrew also said “Timmy is related to Nippy, Shadow and Toby. And Timmy’s human mum is the daughter of Nippy, Shadow and Toby’s human mum.”

Maybe you can make a bit more sense of that? Not me - I’m now completely confused.
