Whining works!
My mum and dad were packing to leave home, and judging by the amount of stuff they were packing, it looked like they might be leaving for a very long time–maybe they were even planning on not coming back at all.
This called for desperate measures, so I launched into my best whining session ever. It was so good, I almost had mum thinking of not going at all. In any case, it did the trick, and although they left, just three days later they were back.
The pitiful whining had them thinking about me the whole time they were away. They even brought me back this photo that mum took outside a shop called Herbie’s Spices. They must be a dog friendly shop seeing they provide a place for us to rest while our humans go shopping.
