Poor cousin Hooch

Hooch with his dadPoor cousin Hooch is still unwell (that’s Hooch and his dad John in the photo at right).

I was hoping to go and visit him today, but mum wouldn’t take me because she said I’d get sick too if I was to go travelling in the car on such a hot day. Mum and grandma visited him instead.

Hooch’s mum and dad took him to the vet again today–this time they went to a different vet for a second opinion. The news wasn’t good, but they’re going to do some more blood tests and see what’s what. His brother Hulk is quite worried about him (the first of the smaller photos below is of Hulk with their mum, Kay–click on it to see a bigger picture).

Better news is that Nuffy and Annie are doing well. Two of their three pups have been adopted, but the third is still with them. Have a look at the photos below and I’m sure you’ll agree they all look to be getting on just fine.

Angus can cut it with cutlery

angus-01.jpg We had a family day today for Boxing Day, and boy was it fun! Grandma and Grandpa Smith came over with cousin Angus, and Grandma Vincent has been staying here for a holiday.

We had a big BBQ lunch that went on for almost 5 hours! There was heaps of food, and cousin Angus demonstrated how he can eat chicken–with a fork!

Here are a few pictures from the day. Click on the thumbnail to open up a larger photo.

What a grrrreat Christmas!

Bacchus wearing his Christmas ribbon Merry Christmas to all my doggy friends all over the world!

I don’t know about you, but I’m exhausted already, and it’s only Christmas Eve.

I’ve had a really busy few days. First, on Sunday, mum took me for a long, long drive in the car–6 or 7 hours in total. We went to pick up grandma so she could come and stay with us for Christmas. I had a great time, apart from a touch of car sickness in the first hour of the trip. Mum stopped every now and then so I could get out for a bit of a walk and a sniff around. By the time we got home I was having such a good time I wanted to keep driving around.

Then yesterday, we had a big Christmas party with lots of mum and dad’s friends. The house was filled with people, and even cousin Angus came to party with me. I got to eat lots of interesting tidbits, and lots of people played ball with me. I was soooo tired when they all finally went home.

Today we went to visit my other grandma (the one who lives with cousin Angus) and then tonight we got to open our Christmas presents. I got a ball and a Christmas stocking filled with lots of yummy goodies.

Mum was trying to take photos of me opening up my presents, but I was so excited, it was hard to keep still so she could get the camera in focus. You can see some of the photos below. If you click on the small images you’ll be able to see a larger photo.

I’ve gone D2D

You’ve all heard of B2C, B2B and all that. Now get your minds around a new concept–D2D–dog to dog, the new brand of ecommerce that’s bound to have everyone pawing for some action.

I’ve set up my own online store, ready to sell doG of Whine/DogBlog goodies to all you cashed up cyberpuppies. Check out the t-shirts, mugs, BBQ apron and stuff for your humans, and I’ve also designed a frisbee (apparently American dogs call them flying discs) just for my doggie friends.

What are you waiting for–go on and get shopping!
