Nuffy’s a proud dad

Puppies.jpg
Nuffy is a little terrier who lives next door to my cousins Hulk and Hooch. He and his partner Annie have recently given birth to three gorgeous little puppies: two boys and a girl. Two of them have markings similar to their mum, while one is the spitting image of his dad.

My mum said Nuffy was so excited about being a dad that he couldn’t keep still. His dad had to hold him so mum could take a photo.

How much is that doggie in the window?

Photo: Hulk looking through the windowHumans occasionally ask this silly question when the answer is obvious. Little dogs are, of course, priceless.

My mum recently went to Seymour to visit my cousins Hulk and Hooch. She took a few photos and brough them home for me since I wasn’t able to make the trip this time.

Click on the small image and a window will pop up showing a larger photo. Handsome boys, aren’t they?

Grandma’s gone geek!

Grandma on her computerMy Grandma is just a few weeks off turning 76 but she hasn’t let that stop her from buying her first computer.

She says she wants to learn how to use Publisher so she can make cards and she’s already created a few things using Word.

Grandma says she’s not interested in surfing the Internet–I guess she’s gonna leave that to the dogs in the family.

Poor Hooch is still unwell

I got an email yesterday from Aunty Kay. She says poor cousin Hooch is not well. He’s only just recovered from a bad dog attack.

Dear Bacchus,

Hello. This is your Aunty Kay. I’m at cousin Thouzi’s house and we were just looking at your website and decided to drop you a line.

The puppies in our family have had more bad luck I’m afraid to report. Cousin Hooch is very sick. He had to go to the vet the other day because he is all woozy and can’t walk properly. He keeps falling over and his head is cocked to the side. He also can’t keep his food down. Nearly everytime he eats he throws it up again. Poor Hooch.

The vet said he has a virus and has given him some tablets to take so he gets all better.

Poor Hooch is not his usual growly self. He takes his tablets like a good puppy and I don’t even have to hide them in his food. He even lets us touch his soots (feet) which is very unusual for him because even if you mention touching them he growls.

The good news is that Hulk is as fit as a fiddle and looking after him.
All the other cousins are fit and well too, and send their slurpiest licks.

Love Aunty Kay
