Email from Nancy

I got another email today, this time from Nancy who wrote:

Hey Bacchus,

My sister has a dog named Waldo who is a JRT and he looks (and sounds!) very much like you. Thanks for the great pictures that you shared on your site. I loved hearing about all your fun activities. You are a cutie. Your mum and dad are lucky to have you!

Nancy

Isn’t Nancy sweet?

News from my Seymour-based cousins

I got another email from my cousin Thouzi about all my other cousins in Seymour:

Photo: Brittany and BaxterDear bacchus,

Woof. Its cousin Thouzi here.

How’s all your bones and toys going.Mine are good but I’ve been more interested in my new hobby lately which is gardening. Mum and Dad don’t seem to impressed though.

I’m sending you some pictures of our other cousins Brittany and Baxter who live with Auntie Melissa in Nagambie. They said they wanted to be famous like me with their pictures on your website. I’m also sending you a recent picture of me so you can see how big I’m getting.

And I told cousin Hooch about all the bad luck the puppies in our family are having and he told me to tell you he fell down a big hole not long ago and his Mum had to rescue him. He said luckily he wasn’t hurt.

Lots of licks for you.
Love Thouzi

More about my brother, Ten

Ten lying on mum and dad's bedI’ve mentioned Ten in an earlier post, so I guess I should tell you some more about him.

Ten is a big fluffy ginger cat. He’s about eleven years old now, but isn’t showing many signs of age apart from a slightly sagging belly (though usually it’s too full to sag much).

Mum got him from a pet shop. She normally takes in boarders from the local shelters, but she had her heart set on a ginger cat and couldn’t resist Ten when she saw him. She says now, however, that is was the biggest mistake of her life.

Ten is a bit of a bully, though generally he and I get along well. He bosses poor Jennie around and steals her food. He steals mine too, but I don’t mind too much because I can usually manage to get Mum to share hers with me.

Most people think Ten is very cute. That’s because he’s on his best behaviour when they come to visit. But those of us who have to live with him all the time know the truth. He digs holes in the furniture, scratches the bedpost in the early hours of the morning demanding to be fed, and puts great big gobs of cat fur all over the place. And he snores!

We’ve voted him out several times now, but he won’t go. We can’t even get his number one fan to take him–he always gives us lame excuses about not being home enough to look after Ten.

If you want him, get in touch with us. Mum says to tell you we’ll even pay for shipping overseas.
