Sally is my cute cousin from Merrigum, a sleepy country town in the Goulburn Valley region of Victoria.
Sally lives with mum’s nephew BJ. She’s a Maltese Shitzu cross and an excited little thing. I’ve been to visit and play with her once, but she barked at me and acted like she wanted to bite me. I didn’t feel very comfortable, so I think it will be a while before I visit her again.
Sally was a present for BJ after he’d come home from a stay in hospital when he’d been very sick. He’d had a brain haemorrhage and is very lucky to be alive.
BJ has a web site (update: he did back then, but doesn’t now) but Sally doesn’t. She’s too little to get up on the chair, so she can’t reach the keyboard to type. Maybe one day BJ will help her make her own web site.

Hulk and Hooch are my cousins who live in Seymour. They’re both stumpy-legged Jack Russells - in other words, they’re a lot shorter than me. I haven’t met them yet, probably because I get car sick and Seymour is an hour and a half drive from where I live.
Poor Hooch doesn’t look very happy in this photo because he got chewed up by a big Alaskan malamute (not long after the big doberman bit me).

The dogs in our family are not having much luck lately.
Just after I got attacked, a big Alaskan malamute savaged by cousin Hooch who lives in Seymour. He was very badly hurt, and probably would have been killed had it not been for his very strong dad who managed to prize open the malamute’s jaws to get Hooch free.
Mum went to visit Hooch yesterday and took this photo. She said his other side is just as badly damaged, and that although he’s on the road to recovery, he’s far from his usual self.

Rosie lives around the corner in Wedd Street and we often meet up on our morning walks.
Rosie is really sweet and so are her folks. She’s got a new baby sister, Sophie, who is nearly a month old now.
The photos below show Rosie with her dad, Michael on the front step of their house.
