Harle goes bush

Photo: Harle goes swimming
My friend Harle (pronounced ‘harley’, I don’t think he can spell proper) was lucky enough to go on a bush holiday with him mum and dad.

They went miles and miles in the car, up around Yarrawonga and Khancoban, where they saw lots of motorbikes on the road.

This picture was taken at Lake Mulwala, near Yarrawonga. Harle loves swimming and looks like he’s not real happy about getting out of the water.

Willis is my pussycat and he’s a he!

Photo: WillisMy pussycat’s name is Willis and he’s a boy! All this time I’d been thinking he was a she.

We found out all about him this morning when we met his mother and told her about our morning rendezvouses (err, I dunno how to spell the plural but I guess I would if I was a French poodle).

We also took some more photos of Willis with my mum’s new digital camera. They didn’t turn out too well as Willis was real excited and kept rolling around making it very hard to focus.

My 4th birthday

Bacchus with his new toyI’ve just turned 4 and mum bought me a green, plastic, squeaky, spikey, mouse-shaped toy for my birthday.

I loved and adored it, and ran around the house madly squeaking it and driving everyone nuts.

It lasted about 20 minutes and then I ate it. What fun!

Mum also bought me a new food bowl, some treats to chew, and she redesigned my web site for me.

I’m such a lucky dog.

An admiring stranger

I got another email today. It was Mum’s birthday and she was very happy because she’d had something called a ‘boozy lunch’. I was happy too when I saw this:

Dear Bacchus

Just wanted to say hi and let you know how much I enjoyed your website. My niece has a dog called Beckie who is just like you.

Beckie lives outside and never gets to sleep on a human bed. She goes for walks and my niece does love her and play with her lots but SOMETIMES she forgets …..!!!### and then Beckie goes hungry and gets bored and lonely. Very sad really. Let’s face it Beckie just doesn’t have half the life you do.

Hope the good life continues.

Hugs and kisses
An admiring stranger
